These Trial Examinations Papers are excellent preparation for the Numeracy Assessment in the National Assessment Program Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN).

They will facilitate the early assessment of students’ skills which enables teachers to enhance levels of competency in all areas of Numeracy. Also, they assess the essential skills, knowledge and understanding that Year 7 and 9 students need to learn.

Each examination paper consists of two sections: Calculator, and Non Calculator. This provides a diagnostic approach in helping teachers to measure students’ abilities to work mathematically as well as to assess their knowledge, understanding and skills.
